Online training works just as well, if not, better than in-person training. The internet allows you to access the expertise of world
class coaches, irrespective of where on the globe you’re located. Otherwise, you would be forced to stick to your local trainers,
who may or may not know what they’re doing.
Another major advantage is that online training, even under much more qualified coaches, is often cheaper than in-person
training. It’s important to note that the fitness industry is highly unregulated and there is no dearth of lousy trainers who barely
know the difference between a barbell and a dumbbell.
Form correction is a common concern that clients have about online training. Don’t worry though, we have a very efficient process to help you perfect your technique in any exercise.
It is important to understand that there is no such thing as perfect form. Every person has a unique body with varying bone lengths and joint range of motion. Everyone’s movements will look slightly different.
Form improves as training age goes up. It is a slow process and should not be rushed.
We will help you figure out what is the most mechanically advantageous technique for you, within your unique anthropometric constraints, using the following process:
Step 1: As a part of the initial screening process, you’ll be sending us videos of yourself performing a few fundamental movement patterns so that we can judge your proficiency at them, and identify your strengths and weaknesses and any movement restrictions you might have.
Step 2: We’ll be sending you detailed tutorial videos on how to perform every exercise that is a part of your training program.
Step 3: You will periodically send us videos of you performing the exercises in your program, which we will assess. We will give you feedback and specific cues on any changes that we think you need to make.
Step 4: You implement these changes and resend videos of you performing the exercises- implementing the new cues.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3-4 until you’ve mastered the movement.
We work with all types of clients – whether you’re a corporate employee looking to get fit but can only spare 30 mins to workout, a stay-at-home mom without access to a gym looking to lose fat, or a professional athlete trying to improve your performance in whatever sport you compete in.
Not to worry! Even if you cannot access the gym for whatever reason, we will design Bodyweight + resistance band (and any other tools that you have access to) based training programs through which you will make excellent progress!
Check-ins are Weekly conversations with your coach in which you can share your experience about the previous training week.
This allows your coach to gauge how you’re responding to your training program, and understand any adherence challenges you might be facing.
Based on your feedback and progress, your coach can then make changes to your program to optimize future progress.
In most cases, your coach will schedule a weekly check in call, but you are encouraged to give feedback on your program and your progress, as many times as you want, via email, throughout the week!
